Before I send off if I do send off to you my papers relative
to the Paper money, I shall consult the learned, and in particular
Mr Bowring who seems to know all about Spain
as well as if he had been born and bred there.

Since my last a thought has occurred to me –
how it might eventually be in my power to render service
to Spain in another department or rather in more than one.
I mean through my Brother if I could engage him to quit
his for the necessary time the he has lately is about purchasing has agreed for the purchase of
not far from Montpellier, if he could be prevailed upon –
and if any body could prevail upon him I could to quit
serve Spain those his pursuits for any other purpose it would be on the same gratuitous terms: and
as his stay could not be for any continuance, he w
no such power could he exercise or possess as could
give to the excite jealousy on the part of natives.
