The two collections of His works having it is hoped long before this, reached Madrid, I can not
it seems to me a matter of course that some not in some
shape or other I hope to hear that his friends in the Cortes
have taken cognizance of them for the purpose of plans being
distributed among the several Committees to which the subjects
of them respectively appertain: of in this view some indication
of the Committees to which he expected to find them regarded
as applicable accompanies the catalogue he has sent
with them: if in any one of these Committees there be no
member who can read understands English individuals it is
hoped will be found to whom it may be referred to report
upon them: and as those of his works that have been edited
by Dumont have found translators in such number,
it seems not too much to expect that for some of those
which he has himself edited translators and publishers may
be found, at any rate with the help of a few words
of encouragement from the Committees to which they respectively
appertain.
