J.B. to Mora

Another friend of yours dines with me tomorrow: you may conceive him
dining with me one day in every week commonly on Tuesday, as being
foreign French and Spanish post day: He had has correspondents in
Portugal and Naples that think and feel as we do: he will try whether
he can get them to be yours. I say he will: for seeing how I am labouring
in the hope of serving the universal cause, there is nothing he
would not do for me.

Follows an account of the private smaller letters sent to you from home, since the
three which you have mentioned the having received.

1. 6th October a half-sheet on bank-post paper such as this: on
one side an account of the Triumph of Liberty celebration dinner, collected
from various Newspapers, and about 3 or 40 printed on purpose at the expence
of about £2 besides postage – sent to different parts of the world. On
the blank side written as follows:

but probably stopt in
many instances in
the continental post offices.

the Cortes to the Alcaldes, recommending
printing licences to Meetings.
2. Guard for protection of
Cortes against mobs.

1. 13 Nov. 1820. beginning with an acknowledgement of the receipt
of two from one from Mr M. and one a copy of Finance Minister's
to him: and sanctioning for the first time Sir S.B.'s Services to the
Naval works in England
" and the ideas of his rendering the like to Spain
and Portugal.

2. 21 Nov. 1820. This present letter; sole subject, idea of applying
Sir S.B.'s Services to Spain.
N.B. The pages mentioned are the pages in J.B.'s brouillones the
correspondence in the Letters sent to Madrid cannot be exact. In regard
to the first days on which the
letters were respectively sent
off there may be errors.
