J.B. through Weidman to Mora.

1 Decr 1820

Sir, A post or two ago, On the 21st of Novr at the instance of my intimate
and friend your correspondent, I gave him in charge a letter
for you inclosing one which he wished should be conveyed to Mr
J.J. Mora, at Madrid. In pursuance of the same danger, the time
not allowing admitting the obtainment of a special authority from
him, I took the liberty of requesting you to transmitt this letter to
the said Mr Mora, exactly as you receive it.
To Mr Mora. The private opportunity by which I expected to send
have
sent you a packet which I was assured might be as much

as given by Sir Francis Burdett, B according to Burdett, Brougham and Romilly 2 June
1818 in the House of Commons. 3. Travellers and Examiners,
as many as can be contained within the allowed bulk. Other
articles that will be sent either by that opportunity or by the next
which was promised for the 8th mentioned as likely to have
place on the 8th are. 4. Bentham's Defence of Usury and
Protest against Law Taxes in an 12vo to compleat the set of his
works. 5. A recent printed and distributed but as yet unsold work of his
that has been procured, namely Observations on the law proceedings

it is supposed be of particular use. Mr Bowring made all of on
Tuesday the 28th Oct Novr in a long letter to Count Toreno, directed
to him at Paris. I take for granted the two letters in which
mention was made of Sir Samuel have been received by you.
That every chance might be taken, by the same post by which the
second letter went a Letter of advice was sent to him.
