J. B. to
Queen's Square Place Westmr
(London.) June 20th 1821.
Sir,
At the hazard of being troublesome,
I address to you this third letter.
My second, if not my first, announced
another long one, The discipline my eyes
are undergoing has obliged me to defer it
till the next weekly mail at the earliest.
In this state of things, I should have remained
silent, and saved you the trouble of this communication,
short as it is, had it not been
for the apprehension of your suspecting the
infirmity of our friend Rocha to have become
contagious. Meantime, one thing that
has been reported to me in relation to him
you can not be displeased to hear. Shortly
after the meeting held by the most distinguished
individuals of your nation here
for the purpose of their address to the Cortes,
communication with him.
