Till this unfortunate Appendix reaches your hands
I have no title to pray an answer to that Letter
to which by the publication given to it so much honour
has been already done: perhaps when the Appendix
arrives that crowning additional favour may be conferred on me.
I know not but I may send it piecemeal: Seldom alas! can execution
keep pace with my

be revised by old and
