Presence banishment general objects

1 Preserving wrongee
from future wrongs

Taken in its general all comprehensive description the purpose
of presence banishment has for its object two purposes

1. Preserving a wrongee from experiencing future wrongs from
a person at whose hands he has already experienced wrong
that is to say in the case by which the application of this same
punishment was

2. Securing wrongee
from annoyance by
wrongers presence

Securing the wrongee from being affected or otherwise
annoyed by the presence of the author of the injury under which
he has been suffering.
