So much as to challenging
now for the cases where
the duel has place
So much for the offence of sending the challenge, now
for the case where it having been accepted the contest has taken
place

With or without
previous prosecution
It has taken place either without prosecution on the account
of the challenge, or after and notwithstanding such prosecution
and the result of it

Result mortal or not
In both cases the result of the contest may will have been
or not been mortal.

Case 1. Combat without
previous prosecution
result not mortal punishment

not mortal. Punishment Fine —to all concerned parties as before above for the
challenger fines 2. for the challenger To all parties concerned
for the combat. Punishment fine payable to the use of the public

Case 2. Combat without
previous prosecution — result

Compensation
Case 2. Combat after without previous prosecution as
above: result mortal. Punishment compen to all parties
as above compensation money payable to the use of
relatives of the deceased. If in the aggregate too much for
them the difference payable to the use of the public.

& warning result

before. Punishment fine to the use of the relatives of the
deceased.

public & the disabled.
In case of disabilitation to either or both, as
that to another Punishment of all other parties concerned as
to give fine to the use of the public: to the use of either of
the disabled combatant none.

Presence banishment
from deceased's relatives
Presence banishment of the survivor from the presence
of the relatives of the deceased or any greater number according
to the circumstances of the family, and the directions of
the Judge. For the mode of apply if in a case of -martial 2 for
the purpose of execution — see another Script page.
