Presence-Banishment
I. Preventive
Fixt or ambulatory – presence banishment may be inflicted
in either of these two shapes: by rendered ambulatory it may be
beyond to any degree more affli beneficial in the part more more beneficial,
in the other part more burthensome: the one may be put in possession
the other deprived of the fondest object of his wishes.
The party Persons Parties on to whom with or without the that power the benefit
it bestowed may be the party wronged without with or without
other persons in any number of those connected related with him by
some special tie of sympathy: wife children, relatives friends.
If such an attribute can render on such a subject, as
where no other mode of punishment so bountiful as it is the power of imagination
to conceive devise. To France and its is the civilized
world indebted for it. But under the choice imposed by technical
procedure, almost ever since its birth it seems to have lain
almost dormant.
Priests were the early lawyers. Not force but fraud was the accustomed instrument
