In the de any to see made
of the a mode of punishment herein also above mentioned
under the name of Presence-banishment. Since that work
was written, a closer view of that subject has been taken
and the result is a conception of a multitude of uses occasions to by
which that of punishment is capable of being employed with
a degree of effect with of attention altogether .

Among the modes of delinquency for remedy to which
in all shapes the demand is in a particular degree urgent,
the in use being in so high a degree inadequate as
homicide in the way of duelling.

For the purpose of all the several modes of remedy
in every one of all several modes this same operation of presence
banishment has been found applicable with peculiar advantage
to this same species of offence homicide in the way of duelling
taken in the several stages of which (as above) it is sure
capable of having place existence, and on in the part of the
several species of Co-offenders to which the nature of the
case is in the habit of giving existence.

On this occasion will be given the arrangements afforded
of all sorts afforded by the proposed sy system including in
a more particular manner those in by the occasion of which application
is made of this same presence banishment:
adding at the same time a list of the several other species
of offences to which it presents itself as capable of being applied
with particular advantage.

But for the making of this applicable not only an
correspondent appropriate portion of the penal code constructed on the principles
of the proposed system, but a correspondent modification of
the judiciary system establishment, and of the Procedure Code system matters of the
Procedure Code will be seen to be necessary.
