Ch. II Codification: or
Ch. III. Remedies

For the extinction of the habit custom of and propensity
of to the commission of homicide by with consent or the appearance
of consent in the way of duelling with the several
inchoate offences thereto belonging, the following enactments ordnances
are provided.

Considered with regard to the actuating are
the following species of duellists or intended duellist.
1. The Bully-Duellist, or say the Tyrant Duellist
2. The vainglorious Due

In different cases the offences belonging to this chain
present a demand for a different set of chain or course of the remedial applications.
For giving expression to these cases the expedient
which presents itself is to give to the Offender Duellist a different
and corresponding specific denomination: so many of
the cases thus distinguished from each other, so many
species of Duellists. Here follows the list, ea to each
denomination with such expository matters being attached a
secured requisite.

Primary source of distinction, the species of motive
or motives or say inducements or inducements by the operation of which
the offence appears to have been produced: but according
to other circumstances the same species of motive will
be seen productive of very different effects, – productive of
evil of the second order singly, or of evil of the third as well as
the second order, in
very different degrees of
magnitude. For the list
