§. 1. Dependence how created
1. By expectation of eventual burthen – including loss of benefit

Where the condition of receipt or retention of benefit is
of avoidance of burthen is regarded as being the imposition of some any
preponderant burthen on the greatest number, and in particular
any burthen imposable by breach of trust in functionaries.
