§. Hearings Procedure on Appeal.

Art. 1. When it is against the ultimate decision Appeal
is submitted, if argumentation is not prayed
at on the part of the Appellant, it is by the Judge
Appellate decided upon without argumentation.

Art. 2. If liberty of argumentation is prayed by the Appellant,
argumentation is prayed, a day and time is appointed
for argumentation

Art. 3. In a non-penal suit, if the on Appellate's side on the Respondent's
side argumentation is prayed, thereupon if no argumentation appears – neither the respondent
himself nor any substitute of his, professional or
non-professional, the Pursuer General or Protector
General, officiate on the part of the Respondent: if
the Pursuer in the Court below Immediate Judicatory he was the Appellant,
the Protector General in the Appellate Judicatory: if the Defendant in the
Court Immediate Judicatory, the Protector Pursuer General
in the Appellate Judicatory.

Art. 4. At the day time appointed for argumentation
the official Respondent on the Appellant’s side declares whether he sees does
or does not see any objection to the decision appealed
from: if he does not, the decision is confirmed,
unless for reversal or modification the Appellate Judge of himself sees any sufficient
specific ground which he declares accordingly for reversal or modification: if the declaration
of the R Official Respondent be the in the affirmative
he thereupon states his objections and argues in support
of them: and upon hearing the argumentation on
both sides, the Judge Appellate decides.

If on the either side the Appellates side either side the party, or any
substitute, professional or non-professional deputed by him appears
and argues, the duty of the Official Respondent does not take place act on that side.
