I hear murmurs - outcries - What is this
inconsistency,this this madness? Blasphemy against the prerogative and against the Church in
one chapter! Blasphemy against juries in another!
What is this monster Who is this enemy of the constitution? A
republican, or a tool of despotism arbitrary power under
the mark of republicanism? But now, the
people deserved were <add>fit for every thing</add> all our confidence. now they are nothing. But now now they
are to have none.

No - no enemy to a friend to monarchy
a friend to establishments - one as far as
both are friends to , liberty good government
and good morals.

No frenzy - not even enthusiasm

No impetuous inconsiderate passion for liberty dictated

to be trusted for with legislation: The happy age of enthusiasm has been long past they are fit, they
