of what is called unanimity on the part of the Jury
on under the occasion of Jury trial conducted in the English mode,
the following at description may prove to convey a
general indeed (but as far as it goes, a correct idea:
Gortner devised and applied under the direction of our
class of Judges for the purpose of compelling on the
part of another class of Judges, and accordingly actually
and habitually compelling on the part of another
class of Judges a lying disturbing opinion, aggravated
by perjury.
