Let Should any non-Englishman think it worth his while to suppose think to, if
in the course of his enquiries he meets with any one else knowing the truth
is disposed to give it him he will learn, let his country be what it will
that in that country the quantity of money earned by the most corrupt Judges by
bribery corruption is inconsiderable in comparison of what is earned by the same
means by this or that Judge in England: the difference is that whereas
in the continual corruption in this quarter is punishable and therefore
act this ill , in England it has with the help of
by from the law itself been clothed with impunity: the laws on their behalf
having this for their direct and undisguised object.

And to make the guilt the more secure and impunity the more certain
so sure as for any such office a prosecution were to take place, the malefactor prosecuted
would either have been companion in the iniquity for judges.
