Objection 2. Venality would thus be introduced into office

Answer. Nothing Only by indistinctness of vision could an objection
be made out of this word. venality: he he whom he it

An office is one thing; a man another: to have
to whom regard the word venality presents itself as thus employed as affording an objection, is – not a the difference
between those two objects is imperceptible knows not that those know a man from an office. Lay under the word – look at the transaction
is any difference between a man and an office. Take away

the objection vanishes. Of By the sort of transaction The article of the one sort
in question what a man does is to give or forego so much in any
the off transaction in question the result is the direct opposite of that

a trustee for the people, accepts at
the hands of the Monarch, a lucrative office, out of which he may by the
will of the Monarch be removed. But the man, who, upon

had had it gratis: he would of if anything to be if there be any difference, he would be the less: in any
other mans power:
for, having purchased it, he would not be quite
so likely to be put of it as if he had not given anything purchased it.
