When in any the imagination of any person the error his one
been planted, every moment in which the instrument of delusion
applies itself to since gives it fresh rent receives the perception
at the instant, and nothing less than a long and laborious process
operation of the reasoning faculty, if at all, can suffice
to eradicate it.

The more baneful the error illusion – the delusion, the more
should be are the exertions of made by every friend to with which
strenuous wherever it has root are the endeavours exertions with which a friend to human happiness
should labour to eradicate it. But to ponder indicate
the course that seems best adapted to that end belongs not to
of the present work the subject is – not any existing form of government
but a proposed new one.
