§. Partiality obviated.
Art. 1 If to the action of any cause of partiality, as per
Ch. XI. §., the If in the event situation of a Judge Depute,
to whom a suit is consigned, any such such cause of partiality be about to be be consigned, is recognized by him
place as per Ch. XI. §. , is brought
to view, as standing exposed he would will do well to as spontaneously to declare it,
and on that account declare cognizance. of the Suit
Art. 2. For the purpose of ascertaining the existence
of the partiality or non-existence of a cause of such exposure
partiality, if to the case of any such questions be put as per Ch. XI. §. be put to a Judge Depute, any question
be put the Judge principal or some other Depute will take his
place, and unless, at the end in consequence of the examination the cognizance be the remitted to him,
officials to the last in his stead has hears and terminates
the suit in his stead.
