Ch. XV Judge Deputes Occasional
§. 1 Term of Service
Instructional continued
This supposes, that as often as it happens that an individual
whose wish it is to obtain at the hands of the Judge a hearing for
the purpose of obtaining a hearing, finds the time of the Judge principal
and of the several Judge Deputes permanent already occupied,
he causes is empowered to cause to be entered in on the Register Book of the Judicatory
his name and description with or without an intimation of its
subject matter or be deemed to be entered in the Register Book.
Of those two final causes the other is – a claim to
on the occasion of this or that individual intended
suit, a desire to Sub see substituted to the official Judge
some others and his Deputes some other individual
or individual, designated or not designated.
A desire to this effect may have had for its cause either
of two opinions: 1. an opinion of the inaptitude of their official
Judge on the aggregate, or of that one, to whom it by whose cognisance it is forborne or conjectured that the suit would
come to be taken in hand, or 2. an opinion of the extraordinary
and comparatively superior relative aptitude of a
as having place in the instance of this or that
individual at large, of who of whom for the purpose in question
proposition is accordingly made.
In the case in which (as above), it is the Judge that the
location originates, the Section to which the matter belongs to are this Section and
the next: in the case in which it is with individuals at
large that it originates, the Sections are §.3. §.4.
and §.5.
