§.2 Comparative - Number.
Art 1. In a Quasi Jury there are two men of
two classes - Ordinary Quasi Jurors and Select Quasi
-Jurors: For shortness, say Ordinaries and Selects
Art. 2. That a calling voice may never be wanting,
the number of both together is odd, The number
here established is three: where of two Ordinary, one Select. By the Legislation
so addition,
if deemed necessary, will of course be made be it: but
should the number will be at least twice as great as that
of the Selects.
Art. 3 Looked to for appropriate moral aptitude
thence for the determining will, are the Ordinaries: their
being the interest of the greatest number: for appropriate
intellectual and active aptitude - for appropriate intellectual aptitude
that is to say knowledge and judgement - thence for
aid and guidance to the Ordinaries - the Selects.
