Ch. XVI Quasi Jury


Art. 32. That each person whose place come
to be upon the Supplemental convened accrued list, may have
the better time for preparing himself for the requisite
cessation of his ordinary occupations, the order in which
the several persons liable shall, serve for the whole year, is
on the last day of the last week but one of the preceding
year, determined as for Art by lot.

Art.33. On the first day of each year, the names of
those who, in the course of the last preceding year
have become liable, are in each of the Liable Lists
added: at the bottom of the List the name of those
who have served are at the same time as per Art.
eliminated out of it. No persons is either liable or admissible
to serve anew, until the stock of persons
who have not as yet served has been exhausted.

Art.34. On the Saturday evening in each week, between
the hours of [ ] and [ ] each Quasi Juror, whose name
he having been convened in this time as upon the Convened list, presents himself at
the Judicatory: if not, his name and description is entered upon
the Defaulters List: and an order of accersition is immediately transmitted
to the habitation of the person whose turn it is, to commence
on the ensuing Monday, his service on the Supplimentary List: and
so on each ulterior failure: the clear interval of a day being on each
occasion left.if possible, between notice received and service.

Art.35. By the Legislature as need arrives these arrangements,
will as the principles here manifested, be from from time to time
modified, by the light of the instruction afforded by experience.]

the Quasi Jury Minister by the
Sublegislature of the District
within which the Sub-district with its Immediate Judicatory
is situated.

Art.37. So by the Legislature.

Art.38. So by the Electors
of that same District.
