§. 4. Functions Service in penal cases purely public

Art. 4. Of whatsoever evidence results from information
given by an individual, whether as original
applicant, or subsequently examined witness, communication
will be made, together with all other
proceedings, to the Public Pursuer Government Advocate, except in case of
declared suspicion of collusion by the Judge; namely,
by delivery of a manifold exemplar of the record;
as per Ch. XII. Judiciary Collectively, §. 20. Publicity &c.
and Ch. XX. Immediate Registrars, §. 3. Functions.

Art. 5. If, on any occasion, the function of Pursuer
be committed, as per Art. 2, to an individual a person at large, the
Judge will have care, lest, by acting in this character,
a confederate, or other favourer of the Defendant, should
endeavour, and find, means to frustrate the suit or obstruct
it.

§. 5. Functions in publico-private cases. Enactive

Art. 5. Of the purely public cases, in which it may be of use
to the public service that a person at large should be admitted

pursuit, the law has given to a person at large, on
condition of the conviction of the Defendant, a remuneration in
any shape, at the charge of the convicted person, or from any other source.
