Constitutional CodeCh. Registrars
Art. 11. For the more apt performance of the services belonging
to the Office of Judicial Register, the Justice Minister will cause the
manifold mode of writing to be uniformly employed in every such
Office. The manifold mode of writing is this.
Art. 13. Of the manifold mode of writing the uses are as
follow.
1. By the multitude of exemplars produced at less an expence,
which, with the exception of that of the paper, is less than the expence of two in the ordinary
mode or the expence of two it affords means for furnishing,
to that same number of persons at that small
expence, to the parties on both sides of the for themselves and their successors assistants all such
documents as they can stand in need of.
2. Every exemplar being, to an iota, exactly
and necessarily the same as every other, the expence of division
is thereby by skilled labour is thereby saved as well as
unintentional aberration rendered impossible.
3. The An exemplar or exemplars kept in the Registrars
Office will serve as a standard whereby a security
is will be afforded against all intentional falsif falsification
on the part of the possessor of any other exemplar.
4. By the reduction thus effected in the expence
of all judicial writings which meaning from the judicatory,
the expence of litis contestaton protection of justice
in its best form will be brought within the reach of a vast proportion of
the whole number of the people, to whom it could not
otherwise be afforded.
5. A degree of Security hitherto unexampled, against destruction
by of judicial documents by calamity or
delinquency, will shall may thus in the way of collateral benefit be afforded, by the lodging of exemplars,
in divers Offices in which they would be requisite
for other purposes: for example exemplars of documents from the Immediate
Judicatories being, requisite at the Appellate Judicatory
requisite for the exercise of the its judicial functions;
and, in the Office of Justice Minister, for the exercise
of his inspective and melioration-suggestive functions.
