§. 5. Minutation, how.
Art. 16. Amendant Minutation – amendment
facilitating function. For Of a this function the desired
eventual need grows out of the Minutative and Attestative functions.
On the occasion of any evidentiary or other discourse, uttered
as above, what may happen is – that though by the utterer does
not question the correctness or compleatness of the account
given of it in the Minute is not questioned, he himself on recollection, for the purpose real or pretended, of
giving additional correctness or compleatness to the statement
as thence made by himself may be with desirous, or, willing content
at the suggestion of some other person, the Judge or the Registrar for example, content,
to make, in the way of addition, substraction and substitution,
to wit in any any one or more of those ways, a more or less considerable
change in it.
Art. 17. Exceptions excepted, in any such case the Registrar
will afford the requisite facilities. But, in any one he
will for a standard of comparison, he will, in every case, keep in the Registry
an exemplar of the Minute in its original shape original state:
