§. 4. Grounds of Appeal decision.

Art. 1. Exceptions excepted, in an Appellate Judicatory
the sole grounds of decision receivable are as follow.

1. The matter of the record as transmitted from the Immediate
Judicatory: in which matter is contained the whole
of the evidence belonging to the case.

2. Argumentation: namely observations heard from the mouths of the parties,
or their assistants, gratuitous or professional, on parties both sides
of the suit, or parties and assistants likewise. which This argumentation
has for its sole basis, the as above, the matter of the record.

Art. 2. Exceptions are –

1. Where If no record at all it has been transmitted from
the Appellate Immediate Judicatory.

2. If the matter by the an Appellant such the matter
so transmitted is objected to on the grounds of in as being
in a material degree incompleat or incorrect.

Art. 3. For supply of evidence, even if not discovered that till
at any time subsequently to the issuing of the definitive decree, pronounced
in the Immediate Judicatory, the judicatory to which application be applied to is
is to be made or the Immediate – not the
Appellate, but the Immediate Judicatory.

Art. 4. So of the sum of the subsequent time of such discovery
be posterior to that of
Art. 4. So, if not till subsequently to the delivery of the definitive decree
of the Appellate Judicatory; or even to execution given
to it.
