§. 6 Judges Optional functions, as to decrees.

For an Appellate Judicatory or Judicatories Supposing local circumstances to admitt of it, one
spot and one alone namely the Metropolis of the State
would be the afford a more convenient situation than any
number of other spots.

Art. 1. Functions of the exercise of which, a Judge
Appellate has the option
on the delivery of his definitive
decree, are the following an Judge Appellate Judge has the option, are those which follow –

1. The confirmative. By the exercise of this the
decrees of the Immediate Judicatory are confirmed, and
order for execution thereof sent down to the Immediate
Judicatory.

2. Reversive. whereby By the exercise of which this an order is given prescribing an arrangement
the direct reverse of that which is given was decreed
by the imperative decree of the Immediate Judicatory.

3. Modificative. whereby the order is given confirming as to having the effect By the exercise of which this some
part and as to other part the arrangement decreed
by the Immediate Judicatory, or confirmed in part, reversed
in other part.

4. Substitutive. whereby an order is given of a tenor By the exercise of which this an arrangement is ordered prescribed
different from and bearing no reference to the arrangement different from that prescribed by the Immediate Judicatory, the
decreed by the Immediate Judicatory. substance of the order bearing no reference to the its decrees. of the Immediate
