§. 13. Remuneration

§. 13 13. Remuneration

Art. 1. Of a Judge Appellate the pay is the
same as that of a Judge Immediate.

Art. 2. It is paid to him or to his Depute: on
each day the pay of that day and no more.

Art. 3. It is paid by the Registrar or his Depute.

Art. 4. It is paid to him in public in the Judgment
seat.

Art. 5. It is paid between the hours of [ ] and [ ].

Art. 6. If neither the principal nor Depute be present
the pay of that day reverts to the public: the Registrar
remains charged with it: unless there be no Appeal on the
list, in which case list, capable of being heard: in which case, entry being made accordingly it may be paid anywhere.

Art. 7. In the Weekly Re Attendance Register, as per
§. 12 Art. the receipt is acknowledged by the initials of the
receiver's name, written by his own hand: at the time of the
receipt, the letter R is added.

Art. 8. As in the case of the Immediate, so in the
case of the Appellate Judge, received by by him from unwilling hands
ulterior money or money's worth would be extortion: from willing
ones, corruption.

Art. 9. As in the case of the Immediate as per Ch. XI. §., so in the
case of the Appellate Judge money is receipt of money or money's
worth, or benefit in any other shape, or of promise thereof, unconditional or conditional, by any person connected
with him may be a ground for Appeal: and is with or without dislocation,
and with or without punishment in the name of
which in this case will be to the Justice Minister.
punishment, and compensation to party or parties injured in case of participation proved.

Art. 10. So, to form a ground for such Appeal,
in this case as in that as per Ch. XI. §. questions, in the face of the Judicatory
may by any person be put to the Judge.

Art. 11. In addition to the pay with the higher
power and reputation attached to his office, and proportional reputation
attached to the meritorious exercise of it, a Judge Appellate has
comparative repose.
