Art. 1. In setting the remuneration to be received
by those for his to his , of the Law Practitioner, it will the care of it will be the of
the Code of Procedure Code in its arrangements, and of the Judge in the
application made of them, such to minimize the natural repugnancy

possible remuneration his hope as far as possible

and expence with which the Client is afflicted to which it may be in the power of the Practitioner to
give encrease.
Art. 2. Accordingly in the on reviewing the demand made
by the lawyer Practitioner for his service and the the Judge will
take into consideration not only merely the quantity of
time actually actually employed and of business actually done, done but also
the need there was for that service of what there was need for employing and doing
and business: and this whether length of time be regarded, or number
of operations, performed, (journeys included or performed) or number and length of written instruments framed drawn upon.
