§. 7. Securities for appropriate aptitude
Instructions to the Legislator
In the case of that a Lawyer of the class the securities
for appropriate aptitude will it is evident stand in
some measure upon the same footing, but also in great measure
upon a very different footing from that in which they stand
in the case of the Official Lawyer by of whatsoever which so ever of
the above mentioned classes he belongs.
1. As to Securities precedented
In this case the branch of the Securities that apply to the case of the
professional lawyer concurr without much difference with those
which apply to the case of the Official Lawyer but more especially
to those which apply to the situation of Government Advocate
and Eleemosynary – those being the official situation which
concurr in making partiality a suit to a considerable degree
a duty instead of that impartiality which is the hands
of the indispensable duties of the Judge and Registrar.
But among the several distinguishable modifications branches a
denial, of appropriate aptitude it is principally to the intellectual
and active that they apply: to the moral not with an effect so
decided and obvious.
