Constitutl. or Procedure Code orCh. XXIV Professional Lawyers
Under the natural System juridical attendance of parties maximized
altogether diffe in a prodigious degree different from
what it is at present in any class would would be the single class
now the single class of the professional Advocate. A mischievous
practice which a man sees no prospect of engaging in
with success, he turns aside away from, and by degrees the very
desire of engaging in it, is by despair if not altogether extinguished
at any rate damped.
Not only will the Judge become to form one of the most distinct the most upright
character that the community contains, but the professional
Advocate, impossible as it is that his occupation should admitt
of his priming himself in a level in the scale of
that sincerity with an average man, will at any rate
be raised to a level in a prodigious degree higher than that
in which with very few if any exceptions he stands at
present.
