Const. CodeCh. XXVI Professional Lawyers
Justice Chamber and within view of it
the not dare venture to waste
time time in irrelevant or frivolous
discourse for the sake of prolonging
the time and thence the remuneration
for fear of the appeal which in that case
might at any time be made instantly
to the Judge.
This wd serve for consultations
& examinatn of documentary evidence
of course the the payment by time in this mode cd. not serve in the
business performed by Advocates in
the shape of interrogatories especially to
adverse parties & their witnesses
& comments on the evidence. For this
service payment might be made either
beforehand or after termin it has
been rendered in whh. case it
might be referred to the gratitude
of the client his circumstances considered
tempered in the way of control or stimulus or control
by the intervention
of the Judge.
