II. As to conservation of documentary real nonscriptive
evidence

1. For the establishment of quantity be careful that
of whatsoever is come in packages the packages come
effectually closed by seals: things being so, open not the seals
but in the presence of some person or persons uninterested in respect of self-regarding
interest and if the importance of the case warrant
the time and labour, let an entry be made in the Journal
with their attestation authenticated by their signatures.

2. The same precaution will serve may be employed for the probation
of quality so far as depends on identity.
