officers 25 to each Division
viz 20 foot 4
Horse and one head

one chief Officer of
the Peace for the

Horse at least to do
duty every night.—

Officers of Commrs
may make use
of the watchhouse

Officers of Commrs
may command
the service of the
Constable
of the Night, the Watch
Patrole and Beadles
and of every high
Constable & petty
Constable.—

Any High or petty
Constable or Beadle
or other Officer of the
Peace refusing to
assist the Commr
or his Officers, to
forfit not more
than £50 nor less
than 20 Shillings—
or be committed to
Prison for not more
than a Month.—

Officers of Commrs
may take persons
conveying goods
suspected to be stolen

And with a warrant
signed by Commr
may enter houses
to search for vagabonds
and break house for
Felons & Stolen goods

Persons harbouring
Rogues &c. to forfit
£10— every subsequent
Offence

If the goods were
not stolen, or no
felon or stolen goods
twice found in the
House, when inter
yet the Office not
to be liable to any
action.

to break open a House

unreasonable hours
who shall be dealt
with as idle & disorderly.—

Victuallers suffering
