Business and where
the matter arose
out of the District.

Every warrant or
Præcept signed by
a Justice acting
within the District
it be of force all
through the District
without being backed.—
with proviso that
Persons taken in
London shall be
first carried before
the Lord Mayor
or an Alderman
and then sent to
the Justice who
granted the warrant

No warrant &c
signed by Justice
without the District
shall be of force within

fine Officers appointed
by themselves
or by the Comms
or any Parochial
Officer for Misbehaviour
or neglect of
Duty, not more
than £10.—

determined by the
Justices of the Division

No Justice to admitt
a person to
become Kings evidence
without the consent
of the Comms under
Penalty of £20.—

to attend on the
call of the Comms

Commission of
Oyer and Terminer
for finding Bills &
trying offenders in
the parishes in
Surrey.—

All offences committed
in the parishes
to be indicted
under that Commission
Treason and
Felonies/except pettit
Larceny/ to be sent
to the Old Bailey to
be tried.—

The Gaolers in those
Parishes to bring
their Prisoners to
Newgate for their
Trials

Sheriff of Surrey to
Summon Jurors
out of these Parishes
for Inquests and
for Trials and
such Jurors shall
attend the Old
Bailey—

All Prisons
in the said Parishes
exempt from serving
on Juries at the
Goal Delivery for
the County, and
Sessions of the
Peace.—

Provided that
the County Sessions
of the Peace
may be held once
a year in the said
Parishes and Jurors
may be summoned
out ofscript unclear the said parishes
for suchscript unclear Sessions


Justices of Oyer
and Terminer in
the said Parishes
to hold a Sessions
the Day approaching
Old Bailey Sessions

The Justices for
the said Parishes
in Surrey for London
Middlesex and
Westminster to
hold a Sessions
once every week
in the year.—

Sessions to be
holden every Wednesday
in the year—

On representation
of the Commr the
Secretary of State
may suspend the
weekly sessions.—

Recognizances for
Offences within
the District to be to
appear at the next
weekly Sessions.—

Penalties in
this act recoverable
by conviction before
the Justice of the
Division and to
be paid in the days
after they come to
the hands of the
Justice to the Peace-Fund.—

Form of Proceedings
in the Annexed
Schedule to be followed

transmitted to the
