Buenos Ayres Representative Chamber Tactical Ordinance
(Translation.)
Minute of a Regulation for establishing the order
of the operations, and the police of the Chamber
of Representatives of the Province of Buenos
Ayres.
Title I
Of the composition of the Chamber
Art. 1. The Legislative Chamber is composed of all the representatives
of the Province, and of the Members Ministers of the
Executive Power.
—2. The representatives shall be received only the ceremony
of on taking an oath, which shall be taken conceived in the terms following.
Will yYou swear before God, and on these Holy Evangelists
to fulfill faithfully the charge of representative, and of in
consulting before all things in the exercise of your functions,
the honor and prosperity of your country, according to the
dictates of your conscience? Yes I swear.
Will yYou swear to maintain the independance of the
country, its interior internal security, and the liberty of every individual,
under the sole authority of the Law. Yes I swear
Will yYou swear to protect morality, to give an example
of obedience to the Laws, and to maintain secrecy in
every case in which it shall be ordered by the Chamber of
Representatives. Yes I swear
If you will so do, may God help you: if not, may he call you to account.
