Title V
Of the form to be observed in introducing any subject,
or in making any motion whatsoever.
51. The Chamber will not take into consideration nor
vote on any point which is not in the following forms.
Project of law: minute of resolution: of addition: of
suppression: of correction: and of communication.
52. Any motion for abolishing a law, suppressing or
setting up any Institution or tax for establishing any general
rule, contribution, or pecuniary penalty: for according
the annual estimate, any credit or extraordinary
expence whatsoever: or for establishing any Institution;
shall be introduced as in the form of a project of law.
53. Any grant or motion, which has for object, the particular
case, of one or more individuals; or to obtain any information knowledge,
or to prepare a law, shall be presented in the
form of a Minute of Resolution.
54. A proposition directed to introduce, one or more articles
in a project of Law, or in a Resolution; or to augment in any
article, quality, quantity, or time, shall be introduced in the
form of Addition.
55. A proposition, which shall defer, or oppose the sanction
of any project of law or article of Law, of a Resolution; or
which shall suppress the quality or diminish the quantity or
time, shall be in the form of, Suppression.
56. Any proposition, directed solely to alter vary the drawing up wording, with
out adding or suppressing, it shall be of, Correction.
