One of my Great Grandfathers had the only title (a Marquesate)
and another the only Mayorazgo estate in
direct settlement. [+] [+] The Marquesate descended
to my second
cousin. Marques of Aysuada.
Many other relatives
of mine on both sides are
in possession of Spanish titles. There In the late revolution in Guatemala these were
and without reluctance formally surrendered: My father
whose father, and whose whose blood had from time immemorial been noble was born in Spain is just now in that
country on a visit to an Aunt of mine, his sister. He is still in possession
