§ 1 Definition

Unlawful Wrongful Defamation is where, without Lawful Cause, a man person
is concerned in propagating disseminating any notion, concerning matter of
fact to the prejudices of that your reputation of another. fact fact, tending or intended to lower your reputation.
Exposition.
[(A) Lawful Cause] See Justifications [infra. p.12 are 1. Consent:

power, independent or as for offenders delegated. See Title [Justification]
[(B) Concerned] See Tit. [Of Association Delinquency Co-Offenders.]
[(C) Propagating Disseminating] 1. That is causing or endeavouring to cause
the notion in question to be entertained by any other person or
persons.
2. It matters not by what signs the notion is propagated:

whether by natural signs such as looks and gestures; or by
conventional signs such as a discourse is ordinarily composed
of nor if by discourse whether they be oral signs consisting
of words spoken, or graphical consisting of characters
put to signify words or evanescent visible signs, copies of
graphical discourse, such as the signs employed in answering
with the fingers.
3. It matters not in what manner the signs in question
are communicated or endeavoured to be communicated: nor
whether expressly delivered or not; nor whether addressed to
