Ch. X VI. Offences affectg Condition
§ Person-stealing
II. The Stealee of either sex in a state of early childhood.
Case 1. Efficient motive or say inducement. Usurpation of right to property at the charge of the stealee
as above. Say Child stealing for property usurpation.
Case 2. Efficient motive or say inducement. Obtaining money by false pretences, at the charge of those
persons by pretending to be the mother of the stealee
in a state of pauperism and exhibiting the stealee as an
object of compassionate sympathy. In this case the offence
coincides with fraudulent obtainment and ad to the wrong done to
those at whose charge the
money or money's worth
is obtained adds the wrong
done to the stealee thus
rendered the blameless and
unconscious instrument
of the wrong first mentioned.
Say Child Stealing for a
mendacity-affecting
purpose.
Case 3. Efficient motive or say inducement. Producing at the charge of the parents and other relatives
of the stealee the mental suffering resulting from the supposition
of his or her being either dead or kept by strangers in a state
of sufferance.
Say Child stealing for a parent-affecting purpose.
III. The Stealee a person of the female sex.
Case 1. Efficient motive or say inducement, gratification of
the sexual appetite at the charge of the Stealee. Say Stealing
for a lascivious purpose.
This to will be an offence of preparation with reference
to seduction: and will either be followed by the
offence in its consummated state or terminate in simple ineffective preparation
as the case may be.
