To 5. For the purpose of seduction instances have
every now and then occurred and made the grounds of prosecution
instances of the wrongful imprisonment of persons of the female
by persons of the male sex.

Instances of this sort occurr probably more frequently
than they become public: care of anxiety for female reputation
in this tenderest point operating as a prevention of publicity
in a case in which if sexual appetite had no part in
the affair no such wrong would have been done or if done
the wrong would not have remained uncomplained undivulged of by in the way of judicial
pursuit.
