§. Wrongful Banishment
Art. 1. Wrongful Banishment has place, where
without lawful cause, by intimidation, wrongfully applied
remuneration or deceptious or other criminal practice, one person causes or
contributes to cause another to against his will to abstain
from stationing himself within a certain portion of
territory for that purpose described.
Art. Of the mode in which, and means by which
an offence of this sort is capable of being committed
examples are as follows.
1. The delinquent a false witness. In consequence of
false testimony delivered uttered by him or fabri forged documentary
evidence proof adduced by him for this purpose,
the wrongee erroneously convicted, and under an
appropriate decree or say sentence punished by a
punishment in the imposition of which banishment was employed.
2. By wrongful menacement, the wrongee engaged induced
to quit the abstain from remaining or repairing to visiting
the portion of territory marked out prescribed to him for this purpose.
