Instruments of delinquency §. [3] Forger Suppression of evidence
it is may be seen how how far it is that suppression of evidence
has the effect of and is tantamount to forgery. How this But
by no act punishable under that name can any mischief
ever have been produced comparable to that which as
above would be the necessary consequence of the establishment
of this principle.

Either the despotism which it sought to be established
will be established accordingly, or the name of the Judge by whom it remain
as yet established will go to all posterity in company
with that the name of least Jefferies and Eldon.

But though by the judgment in this case the conduct practice
of English Judges has been outstript in the career of mischievousness
it is no more a consistent observance than an exemplification of the
system pursued throughout the whole of the Department
of which they are at the head.
