§. Stealing
Expositive
Art. 1. Stealing is where without supposing
himself to have a title, or intending to
be responsible in law, one person is
a person obtains or contributes to obtain for himself
or another the possession without consent, from any person
entitled or appearing to him to be entitled to give
such consent, the possession of a thing moveable,
with the intent to convert it to his own use,
and without intending to make restitution of it.
Art. 1. Stealing is where a man converts a takes and converts
not without having obtained the from any person behind by in the entitled or apparently entitled to give such consent to occupy such
moveable thing to his own use, not supposing himself
to have any right so to do to do so, and by secrecy or otherwise
intending and endeavouring to avoid being in respect
thereof of his so doing answerable to law.
