Penal Code

Art. 1. Ends in view of the Penal branch of the Code
minimisation of the quantity of preponderant evil, producible
by the several offences.

Art. 2. Immediate maximisation of the
quantity of good produced or say of evil prevented. 2. minimisation
of the quantity of evil employed in the
character of a remedy or say minimisation of the expense,
remedy in every possible shape being expensive
or say attended with expense. See Constitutional
