The majority of Box 68 is occupied by Bentham’s writings on his Penal Code. Aside from two folios from ‘A Comment on the Commentaries’ (fos. 1–2), and nine headed ‘Law Amendment or Penal Code’ (c. 1828), the remainder of the box is occupied by Penal Code material written between 1818–30 concerning types of offences and concerning property.
