Penal Code.Ch. III. Division of Offences
9. Modifications of Source the ninth. Modifications of
which the mischief of the same officer of the same denomination is in case susceptible. Offences
are 1. productive of the mischief unmodified. 2. productive
of the mischief modified viz. 1. in the way of :

For differen From all these sources together, for two
different purposes two modes schemes or degrees of division will be employed. The
one all-comprehensive for the purpose of giving to the legislator
a compleat mass of the whole of his field domain in all its
parts: the other partial: for the better more effectual delineation
of this or particular part.
In the all comprehensive scheme will accordingly be
employed two – to wit the two first of the abovementioned sources
to wit 1. the seat of the disorder disease. 2. the extent of it: 3. the relation
of the offence to title in the case of offences affecting property &c.
