Penal Code§. Definitions & Distinctions

Crime affords a vague appellation
an offence accompanied with out consciousness

Correspondent to every individual offence misdeed is an
individual moral wrong: correspondent to every species of misdeed
is a species of moral wrong.

Correspondent to every individual offence is an
individual legal wrong: correspondent to every species of
offence is a species of legal wrong.

By every offence individual or specific committed, a
legal wrong is done. The offender is stiled a wrong-doer.
The person A party by whom in consequence of the wrong
pain is suffered suffering is experienced call him for shortness brevity stake a wrongee: correspondently for
the sake of brevity and symmetry call the wrongdoer a
wronger.

So throughout Not the field of legislation, for the designation
of the an agent employ the termination or or er: for the designation
of the a patient in that same case, the termination. To
a large extent this termination, the commodiousness of which
is manifest has at all from early time been employed in English
jurisprudence. In this general point of view mention

to designate denote an offence to which in consequence of a sentiment of displeasure

to an extraordinary amount has been stands annext. Correspondently A misdeed
to which by the idea of the speaker or writer a sentiment of displeasure
extraordinary in degree is annext has commonly been also
denominated a crime, if the word crime is employed, it should for distinction sake it may be termed
a moral crime, or say an anti moral crime, or to save apparent the appearance of
self contradiction, a
crime in the moral sense
