Law Amendment or Penal Code or

Law, Diversity - Astrology

Money suffices for a Pension; Means and with fluency for a Chief
No doubt in a Priest: the more plainly and avowedly
the selfish the more decided must be by the importance of it.

In no other profession or line of study has
preeminence in inaptitude passed not merely for aptitude –
for an ordinary degree of aptitude, but for preeminence in
may for supremacy in aptitude. In law only is it
that a man men have been found who have not only
claimed but gained respect by that by a faculty from which in every
other branch of study a man would in proportion to the
degree in which he was possessed of it, he would derive
nothing but contempt. In mechanics, in
chemistry, in any manufacture by which application is
made of both or either or both in the trade of exchange
in uses, think of where is the advantage that would be gained
by preeminence in dubitation, by the faculty of entertaining
great doubts, or respect by the profession of entertaining them.

Decision To decide is the not only an indispensable but the
very characteristic function of a Judge: dubitation, so long
as it has place is the inability to exercise perform it.

Was it by being unable to form an opinion that Newton declared
the laws by which the Universe is governed, and made known how what light is and how it acts?

As decidedness in a lawyer Courage is an indispensable attribute of a soldier:
in so far as it has place a deficiency in that attribute
Arthur Wellesley was it by timidity that he
became a Field Marshal and a Duke? By Declaring himself,
or turning pale and red before in the presence as many would
he hence obtained either promotion or reputation?

Yet could a John Scott be not only chosen head of
the law but continue in it with only a casual interruption for
a month not less than 27 years: to which but for an incident
which had nothing to do with his aptitude or inaptitude
in this respect might have been added any number of other years.

To overstep crown the absurdity thus manifested abominableness of such a choice,
one other alone was wanting, the choice of a Signor the
for a husband to the Princess Constance for giving in union with the Princess in the Brunswick continuation dynasty.
