16 To deception by
discourse in its five
several shapes, add
deception by delusion,
effected by giving by
means of association
to the matter of corruption
the property of
wishing producing delusion in the
mind of the people, by
causing them to believe
the existence of virtue
in the minds of those
in whose exterior the
matter of prosperity
is accumulated.
1. By one sort of dress
and paraphernalia trapping the
belief of the existence of
purity and morality is
produced.
2. by another, that of wis
appropriate knowledge – judgement, and
love of justice.
3. by the appearance of
wealth. Head of examples
from pecuniary concupiscence.
